Ruby calls self.inherited(subclass) whenever a new subclass is created. This lets you register or initialize subclass-specific data automatically.

  def self.inherited(child)
    puts "Registered command: #{child}"
  end
end

class StartCommand < BaseCommand; end  # Prints "Registered command: StartCommand"
